My MIL claims that I can hypnotize people.

She says that when she first moved in with us she saw that I would look into my husband's eyes and say, "Now, you're going to do this, aren't you?" and he would say, "Yes," all passively and it is obvious that I hypnotized him. So after I was done hypnotizing my husband, I sat my MIL down on the couch and said, "Now, you're going to do this, aren't you?" and she didn't answer me so I said it again, "Now, you're going to do this, aren't you?" But again my MIL didn't answer me. Then she go up and walked out of the room but she looked back at me and noticed that I was all disappointed that my hypnotizing "games" didn't work on her.
