The Lodger

So, I forgot to say that this past week was probably the last time I will be staying with my sister. I just can't deal with the way she talks to me. Does she think it's ok to critique my hair and clothes and appearance in general just because she's my sister? Actually I'm shocked she didn't say anything about my weight this time. So, someone is going to have to host me next time, or I'll stay in a cheap motel. Peth, you need to finish E-Land.

NJ and Philly

So, I spent about 4 days in NJ/Philly last week. I am grateful to Peth and Major Johnson and Addie for keeping me occupied for a couple days. It was fun but exhausting. I think fatigue is what contributed to a big fight with my sister on the last night I was there. I mean just being with any member of my family is mentally and emotionally draining. My sister tend to live in a black and white world where her opinion is the truth. I never hear her say something like, "I don't like that restaurant." Instead she says, "That restaurant's no good." Know what I mean? It didn't help any that I agreed to spend a couple hours at my sister's step-daughter's house. The Man says I shouldn't call them "provincial" but rather "simple." The step-daughter's husband is a cop and said a few things that make me cringe and fear cops. I can elaborate later.
But thanks everyone who made hanging out fun. And apologies to Addie. I'll get nude next time.
