3:53 pm Yesterday I had to explain to The Man who John Mayer is. I let him watch the video for "Your Body is a Wonderland." He found it boring which is just how he should have found it. Then I commented that I believed the term "wonderland" was popularized by Lewis Caroll's story. And even though the term "wonderland" can mean a place full of wonderful things, as I remember it, Alice found Wonderland somewhat confusing and disorienting. Yesterday I told The Man about the song "Smell yo Dick." When we got home he looked it up on youtube and listened. Afterwards he says, "Maybe 'smell yo dick' has another meaning which we don't know." I said, "Nah, I think 'smell yo dick' means exactly what it sounds like." |
